The Petroleum Association of Wyoming would like to thank U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis for her years of leadership and advocacy for Wyoming’s oil and natural gas industry—from her service in the U.S. House to the U.S. Senate, including as Chairman of both the House and the Senate Western Caucus.
PAW President, Pete Obermueller, who served as Senator Lummis’ Legislative Director in the United States House of Representatives issued the following reflection:
“Cynthia Lummis has had a remarkable span of public service dedicated to the State she loves and to the people that make it great. She is a person of deep faith, dedication to her ideals, and resolute loyalty to her family, friends and staff. She was a good boss, too. On behalf of the 19,000 men and women who produce Wyoming’s oil and natural gas, we look forward to continuing our work with Senator Lummis through the remainder of her term, and we wish her all the best in her retirement endeavors.”
